Lori Scott Yoga & Wellness is NOT about touching your toes or doing headstands. It’s about letting the practice meet you wherever you are today. It’s about community. It’s about pausing long enough to notice that you can breathe. It’s about doing anything that brings kindness, love and mindfulness into your life. It's about discovering ways to find peace through life's challenges on and off your yoga mat. I see you, I hear you, I’m there too. Lori's Story After many years struggling with stress and anxiety, it became very clear to me that if I did not make time for my wellness, I would be forced to make time for my illness. It was a combination of words from my son (“Mom, I thought self-care was selfish”)and my doctor (“Lori, yoga can help relieve your stress”) that became the catapult for changing my story. Since hearing those powerful words, my focus has been dedicated to living a life of wellness with the intention to heal, grow and know self-love. So, I teach what I most need to learn. By practicing my own self-care and making my health and wellbeing a priority with authenticity, I am able to hold space for others to do the same. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we all grow stronger - together. Lori's Mission While deepening my own yoga practice has changed my story, it has become my mission and purpose to provide a welcoming community learning space for wellness classes & workshops that focus on overcoming life's challenges, discovering self-love and personal growth for students and teachers to flourish. Lori Scott Yoga & Wellness is a peaceful community built on compassion, empowerment, acceptance, trust, equality, authenticity and self-love.
