Jonna Dondero, RYT 500
From a young age, Jonna has been involved in fitness in one way or another and loves how it helps keep the body and mind aligned. She has also always had a passion for helping people feel good, whether it’s paying it forward or, most recently, with teaching yoga. She stepped onto her mat for the very first time during a hot power yoga class in July 2016. The class kicked her butt, but she left on cloud nine and was blown away by how amazing she felt, and she hasn’t looked back since. Jonna’s background is in the financial industry, and yoga made her feel connected on a mind and body level. It greatly helped to create the balance she needed from working in the corporate world. With gratitude in her heart and clarity in her mind, she decided to enroll in the Open Doors 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017. She completed her RYT certification in 2018 and immediately went on to receive her 30-hour children’s teaching certificate with Radiant Child, her Connected Warriors Trauma-Conscious Yoga certificate, and most recently completed her 95-hour Children’s, Teens, and Trauma Informed teacher training with YogaEd. Through the use of yoga, breath work and meditation, Jonna hopes to empower and help children, teens and adults gain the tools they can use to help them feel good about themselves internally and externally. Jonna offers children, teen and adult classes, workshops, private yoga and children/teen yoga birthday parties.

Ashlyn Louro, RYT 200, Breathwork Facilitator
Ashlyn has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, but experienced a deep dive into healing with yoga in 2017. She provides insight to emotion regulation by bridging the mind/body connection. Ashlyn understands the challenges of living with mental health issues, and her goal is to create a space for people to tune into self-care, and improve their physical and mental endurance on the yoga mat, so they can continue to find balance off the mat. Ashlyn also leads Breathwork for individuals and groups. This was a personally powerful healing tool for her, so she completed training to facilitate this work with others. She loves everything outdoors and nature, so you can find her in the rivers and forests of the mountains, or the beaches and lakes in any New England season. Her values are deeply rooted in social activism, and in accessible yoga for all, making her classes inclusive for all groups, communities, and organizations. Ashlyn completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Lori Scott Yoga School in June 2021, her Level 1-5 Healer Training with David Elliot at The Omega Institute in October 2021 to facilitate Breathwork, and also holds certifications in CPR, Meditation, Chakra Balancing, and Restorative Yoga.

Jen Herbert, RYT 200
Jen has been practicing yoga for a decade, and has recently completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Lori Scott Yoga. She also holds certifications in Meditation, Restorative Yoga, and Chakra Balancing. Her life experiences have led to her class’s signature style, a music-informed flow that brings focus and fun to the mat. As an ethnomusicology student in college, she examined the roles that music can play in yoga, and she considers herself a curious, forever student. In her years as a radio DJ, she honed her intuitive knack for crafting the perfect playlist. She has also taught and played competitive tennis, ensuring she can guide a group with professionalism and liveliness. When she’s not yoga-ing, music-ing, or tennis-ing, Jen works as a brand strategist, buries her nose in a book, cheers on the Chicago Bears, and dreams about two meals from now (she already has the next meal figured out). She looks forward to flowing with you and forever chasing that post-yoga class bliss!

Donna Fennessey, RYT 200
Donna’s journey with yoga began over seven years ago, with one class and a promise that she would never return, but she did thanks to one instructor. In time, she would discover, yoga was not how well she could do all the “poses”; but rather, it was about how it gave her a sense of well being and inner peace every time she returned. This personal discovery led her to pursuing and completing her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training from Lori Scott Yoga School. Donna also holds certifications in Meditation and Chakra Balancing. She is excited to be able to share her practice with people of all ages and wants them to experience a sense of success and serenity. Donna has created classes which center around a gentle practice of (pranayama) breathing, meditation and asana (postures), so you will find strength, flexibility while practicing mindfulness. Principles of Functional Movement will be woven into her classes. She believes that what you bring to your mat each time will be unique, so both modifications and challenges will be offered in each class. She will integrate her knowledge of the Chakra System so your energy channels will flow freely. Donna hopes that by holding some space for yourself that you will leave each class feeling balanced and with a sense of inner peace that will follow you off the mat. She looks forward to meeting you in the studio!
